Thincut Application Areas

Home Appliances
One of the industries with the highest label usage globally, the white goods sector utilizes Damla, Plastic, Aluminum, Diacut, Metal, and Thincut metal logos. The diversity of these products varies according to the sales strategy of the respective brand. Label options are available for every market segment.

Since 2012, Thincut (letter-by-letter metal) logos have been widely used on all major and small household appliances by leading global white goods manufacturers.
While primarily applied on refrigerators and washing machines, Thincut labels are also used on dishwashers, dryers, coffee machines, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, ovens, combi boilers, and more.
The type of label selected depends on the material color of the appliance—options include Damla, Thincut Metal, and others.

Furniture Accessories
The furniture sector is deeply rooted and diversified in its use of labels. Metal logos—such as those made from Zamak, Aluminum, Diacut, and Thincut—are commonly preferred.

Depending on preference and surface application, Damla and plastic-based labels are also used.
For panel groups, adhesive labels are preferred, while for soft groups, embedded metal logos are more suitable.

Furniture and accessory brands also utilize large-sized decorative stickers to enrich their products. Additional options include Damla, polyurethane, domes-based stickers, colored plastics, or metalized visuals.

Electrical and Electronic Components
Metal components made with Thincut technology are frequently found in today’s essential electronics—such as mobile phones, computers, televisions, and sound systems.
Various versions, including 3D Thincut, Micro Thincut, and 2D Thincut labels, are used. Damla, Diacut, and Aluminum logos are also popular product categories in this segment.

LED Insulation
To achieve IP68 waterproof standards, polyurethane is applied to LED strips, making them suitable for outdoor and underwater use.
LED strips treated to reach IP68 durability are used in pool lighting and exterior building lighting.
Many architectural projects have been enhanced through LED insulation applications.

Automotive
Decorative components in car interiors are protected using Damla casting, Domes, or polyurethane coatings.
Damla, Domes, or polyurethane-based labels are frequently used to indicate bus models.
For all vehicle brand logos, aluminum or plastic-based materials are used.
Chrome-plated visuals are prominent, with Thincut labels offering alternative solutions in this area.

Textile and Accessories
Polyurethane materials compatible with textile products can be heat-applied using auxiliary equipment.
Damla transfer products—first introduced in Turkey by Edes Etiket—have become very popular in this field.

Furthermore, we hold the application patent for holographic Damla labels used in team uniforms and sportswear.
For additional textile accessories—such as buttons or cufflinks—Damla, Domes, polyurethane, Thincut metal, and laser-cut plastic-based labels are used in harmony with metal components.
